We are always looking for new members. We’re planning to learn lots of new music, and to perform around Boston and beyond, so strap yourselves in and hold on to your hats….

Upcoming Auditions

Our fall 2016 auditions will take place on Monday, September 5th 2-5pm and Tuesday, September 6th 5-8pm at MIT room 4-149! If you are interested in joining us, please prepare a short section (verse & chorus) of a song – any song other than Happy Birthday, in any language! And relax when you come; we will guide you through a few vocal exercises.

Who can join?

Anyone can join Techiya! We especially encourage freshmen and sophomores to audition, but you don’t have to be an MIT student to join. You don’t even have to be Jewish. All members of the MIT community, and the greater Boston community, are eligible. Vocal training or musical experience is not required.
